Tertia Optio is the second episode of Season 2 Amazon's Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series. It premiered on October 31, 2019.
Synopsis[]
Jack is granted permission from Senator Chapin to stay in Venezuela. President Reyes denies involvement in the events that are keeping Jack in country. Meanwhile, Jack and Harry team up to follow a lead that could create dissension within the ranks.
Plot[]
Filiberto Ramos details his involvement to the CIA...
but later ends up dead in his cell frothing at the mouth.
Marcus Bishop is recruited by Matice to infiltrate the jungle of Venezuela with CIA Special Activities. Matis doesn't give him much of a choice and so Marcus eventually caves in.
Jack Ryan meets the mysterious woman while investigating the port.
The CIA capture Mateo Bastos and get him to relay the recording to his boss, Reyes, but it turns out he was the man that attacked Ramos's house.
The woman's true identity is revealed.
Reyes offers the "killers" of Jimmy Moreno to the Americans, but Ryan in particular doesn't buy it at all, much to the disdain of Ambassador Calabrese
Ryan is attacked by Max Schenkel, and survives with James Greer's help, but Max gets away.
