Lieutenant-Commander Red Wegener is a character that appears in the novel, Clear and Present Danger.
Biography[]
Wegener was formerly enlisted in the United States Coast Guard before commissioning. In 1988, he had arrisen to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander and served as the captain of the USCGC Panache. His success in rescue missions earned him the title as the "King of Search-and-Rescue (SAR) missions.
