"Movie Star" is a character that appears in the novel, Executive Orders.
Biography[]
In 1996, "Movie Star" was the alias of a terrorist with ties to Ayatollah Mahmoud Haji Daryaei of Iran. After Daryaei invaded Iraq and merged it with Iran to form the United Islamic Republic, he tasked Movie Star with kidnapping U.S. President Jack Ryan's youngest daughter, Katie Ryan. This was part of a series of terrorist attacks orchestrated by Daeyaei that were designed to "weaken" the United States and prevent them from interfering in the UIR's invasion of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Movie Star's kidnapping attempt ultimately fails due to the intervention of FBI agent Patrick O’Day.
