Jeff "Bronco" Winters is a character that appears in several Ryanverse novels. He is a U.S. Air Force pilot, that flies the F-15 Eagle fighter as part of the 390th Fighter Squadron, nicknamed the “Wild Boars”.
Biography[]
Clear and Present Danger[]
A member of the United States Air Force, Captain Winters worked as a F-15 pilot in 1988. He was later assigned to EAGLE EYE which sought to have F-15 Eagles intercept drug flights used by the Colombian Cartel.
Executive Orders[]
During the Second Gulf War, Winters had been promoted to the rank of Colonel. Still serving as an F-15 pilot, he participated in the United States’ military campaign to protect Saudi-Arabia from Invasion by the United Islamic Republic. During the aerial battle, he downed multiple UIR Air Force F-4 Phantoms, hindering their attempts to attack the ships of Task Force 61.1 with missiles.
The Bear and the Dragon[]
Captain Winters continued to work as a F-15C pilot in 2001.
