SGB?
So here's one for all you EndWar people, is the SGB an Organization or a Division? We've always labeled it as an organization but now it's popping up as a division of the Russian Army.
Character Callsign Help
One thing we're looking forward to on the Tom Clancy Wiki is the new achievement system Wikia has initiated. Basically we create goals for users to shoot for and in return they are rewarded with points that collected to show how dedicated they are to the site.
We're working on getting this set up for the wiki and could use help with names and goals for the achievements. One thing I was thinking is we could start with was the callsigns of each character (i.e. "Panther" for Sam Fisher). If there's any that people can remember while I'm searching the data banks feel free to either leave a comment here or on my Discussion Page. Thanks in advance for the help!
New "Followed Pages" Setup
As you may have noticed Wikia has changed the watchlist to a new "Following" system, which works almost exactly the same way. One major difference however is the fact that your followed pages will be displayed on your user page for all to see. If this isn't something your interested in or just don't like how it squeezes your user page into the center this can be easily fixed. To remove the followed pages from your user page go to "Preferences" at the top of the page, click "Followed Pages" tab and check the box next to the "Make my followed pages lists private" option. Boom! Now nobody can see what pages your following and your user page goes back to it's original shape and size. Just a heads up for the people who may not wish to browse arā¦
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Man, I have never been more excited for a video game's release as I am for Conviction. I've had the game reserved from the kind folks at Gamestop since October but have been trying to stay away from information about the game up until recently. I'm an Xbox guy myself and lately they have been posting a lot of info on the game and for some reason I just can't seem to stay away. They got about a dozen video's in their marketplace from game video's, developers dairies, E3 trailers to an interview with my main man Micheal Ironside. On top of that they just released the demo for the game a while back and I can't stop playing it. It's just a short level but whenever I'm bored I just pop it on and play a different difficulty and try to figure outā¦
Conviction in April now!?
So after reading up on all the stuff that will be coming out with the collectors edition of Splinter Cell: Conviction, I decided to run up to the game store and reserve the copy before it came out this 26th. I pre-ordered the game and asked them if they'd be opening at midnight for the game release and that was when I found it was pushed back once again. Not to sure but I think this may have been the fourth time that the game has been pushed back. I hope the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier isn't pushed back like this too...but at least they just generally said that it may come out within a one year gap.
Keepin' It Up!
I know I've taken my fair share of breaks for work and personal reason's, but one thing that I've always admired about this wiki is that even when there hasn't been a large amount of activity for a while, people still come around and post new information about the many different Tom Clancy titles. Not only do we have our fateful contributors who always return and help out when they find new information or come across some extra time, but we also are always gaining new people who come around and become "regulars". One day you can look at the site and see that nobody has edited in a month, then all of a sudden 10 people bumped into us thanks to google.
